The Barony of Bhakail and the Shire of Hartshorn-dale are pleased to invite you to A Summer Commons, on Sunday, June 26th. Join us for a day of fighting, fencing and fun, in the Lower Perkiomen Valley Park in Oaks, PA, (http://www.montcopa.org/parks/lpvp.htm). Fighting and fencing practices commence at noon and continue until dusk. A mini-tournament may be held early in the day, followed by pick-up fights and melees. There will be plenty of space for Arts and Sciences activities, so bring along works-in-progress, new projects, or just a healthy curiosity! There is no site fee! The park has covered picnic areas with tables and grills for a potluck dayboard, so bring your favorite dishes and munchies (don't forget charcoal!). We'll have filled water coolers and cups, but please don't forget to bring eating utensils and mugs for your feasting. We are sorry, but the park does not allow archery, animals, alcohol or glass bottles.
Yes, it is a garb event. :)
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Michel Wolffauer (mka: Mike Knauer) (610-666-1054) or Olrik van Lubbeke (mka: Eric Schaffer).
