Events

The Shire of Hartshorn-dale organizes three annual events, and the occational other event.

Games & Galliards: A day of playing games, a bountiful feast, and a night of dancing.  G&G normally takes place on the second Saturday of March.

All's Faire in Love & War: A weekend camping event featuring fighting and archery tournaments, fantastic feasts, and numerous other activities all in the name of love and war.  AFIL&W takes place in May over the Memorial Day weekend.

Sundered Shields and Masked Measures: A one day event combining a fighting tourney and a masked ball. The event features fighting, fencing, thrown weapons, and archery, with an extensve dayboard and a masked ball by torchlight.

Scottish Irish Festival and Highland Games: A weekend demo/event held at Green Lane park in northern Montgomery County.

Autumn Schola: A day of teaching and learning.   The Schola normally takes place during the month of November.

Shire Commons: An informal event sometimes hosted with the Barony of Bhakail or other local groups, the Commons is a free day of fighting, fencing, and feasting (potluck).

Ursinus Revels: The student group at Ursinus holds seasonal revels from time to time. The Ursinus Revels are free days of dancing, gaming, and feasting (potluck)
